Sawyer Buck

Sawyer Buck is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Yield Enhancement Engineer II at Polar Semiconductor since June 2021. Prior to this role, Sawyer Buck gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Qorvo, Inc., where contributions included the installation of an XRF tool and support in utilizing SPC software for troubleshooting and data collection. Educationally, Sawyer Buck holds a Master's degree in Applied Physics from the University of Oregon Graduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where Sawyer Buck also engaged in student research projects focused on solar energy applications. Additional experience includes an internship at The Composites Institute, where Sawyer Buck characterized polymerization processes and presented research findings to industry members.
