James P. Williams

James P. Williams is the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Polaris Industries. James has held this position since January 2006. Prior to joining Polaris, Williams was the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Cooper Industries from January 2006 to December 2011. James was also the Vice President of Human Resources at Honeywell from January 1995 to December 2005.

Williams has over 25 years of experience in human resources and has overseen 24 acquisitions during their career. James also played a key role in the divestiture of the Hand Tools business to merge with Danaher Craftsman Hand Tool business, forming the new Apex Tool Group. In addition, they have upgraded 40% of top 3 management levels and driven internal fill rate from 27% to 68%.

Williams received their Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University.
