Martin Bang-Löwgren

Martin Bang-Löwgren is the current Director at Polaris Private Equity. Martin has over twenty years of experience in the field of business and finance. Before their current position, they were the Portfolio & Strategy Director at Coloplast from November 2006 to October 2009. Their responsibilities included strategy and business development, project portfolio management, and special projects.

From March 2005 to October 2006, Bang-Löwgren was the Director Corporate Business Control at Gambro. There they were responsible for the review, approval, and follow-up of key investments and projects, as well as financial target setting and valuation of the group. Martin also has experience with M&A and other special projects.

Prior to their work at Gambro, Bang-Löwgren was a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group from January 2000 to December 2005. At Boston Consulting Group Stockholm office, they worked with a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, automotive, industrial goods, telecom, and IS/IT. Their key topics of expertise are reorganization and restructuring, post merger integration, and corporate strategy.

Bang-Löwgren began their career as an Analyst at J.P Morgan from January 1998 to December 2000.

Martin Bang-Löwgren has a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, as well as a degree in Sociology, law and economics from Stockholm University.

Their manager is Jan Johan Kühl, Managing Partner. They are on a team with Jesper Langmack - Partner and Head of Polaris Flexible Capital, Jan Dahlqvist - Senior Advisor, and Henrik Bonnerup - Partner.
