Andreas Wachter

Andreas Wachter has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the Director of Industry Standards at Polaris Wireless since May 2018. Prior to this role, Wachter held various engineering and leadership positions at Qualcomm, eBiscom, Verizon Wireless, AirTouch International, and Siemens. Notably, Wachter was a Principal Engineer at Qualcomm from February 2003 to November 2017. Academically, Wachter holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin, a Diploma in Physics from The University of Freiburg, and a Pre-Diploma in Physics from the Technical University of Munich.
