Kolby Day

Kolby Day joined PolarityTE in 2018. He leads manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, engineering & device development, and quality control testing. He leads the chemistry, manufacturing, and control (CMC) development work for SkinTE. He brings over 18 years of experience in cell therapy and device development. He has developed over 14 products in multiple markets, cell therapy, orthopedics, plastics, wound care, and bone marrow transplant. Prior to joining PolarityTE, Kolby was the VP/General Manager at Arteriocyte Medical Systems (now ISTO Biologics) and Arteriocyte, Inc. (now Compass Biomedical), where he successfully raised over $55 million in capital, functioned as Principle Investigator (or Co-PI) on multiple NIH SBIR, DOD, and BARDA grant awards. He is an inventor on 2 U.S. Patents. Kolby earned a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University, and a Bachelor of Biology from Southern Utah University.
