Kevin Abercrombie

Kevin Abercrombie is an experienced production and operations manager with a robust background in manufacturing and engineering. Currently serving as Production Manager at Polarium since April 2022, Kevin also co-founded GRAFTEDINVEST(PTY)LTD in March 2017. Previous roles include Operations Manager at Hose Manufacturers, overseeing the production of layflat hoses, and Production Manager at TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGIES, where OEM manufacturing was the focus. Kevin's expertise extends to utility-scale solar inverter and solar panel manufacturing due to a production manager position at SA Power Solutions from 2012 to 2016. Early career experiences include holding roles as Product and Test Manager and Operations Manager at Tellumat (PTY) Ltd, dedicated to mission-critical military equipment manufacturing. Kevin holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, alongside educational credentials from Stellenbosch Business School and the University of South Africa.
