Sheryl Hanchar

Sheryl Hanchar is a seasoned professional in information security, currently serving as the Global Vice President of Information Security at Pole Star Global since August 2025. With a long-standing career in various leadership roles, Sheryl has held significant positions such as Global Chief Information Security Officer at Comtech Telecommunications Corp. and Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer at CAES. Additionally, Sheryl has contributed as a board member at the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body and has extensive experience as a US Naval Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve since 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Information Security from Pace University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Dominican University New York.
