John Hammar

John Hammar is the current Head of Data & Applications at Polen Capital. John was previously the Technology Director at Galliard Capital Management from September 2010 to February 2021, where they provided direction and expertise for all of Galliard Technology. Prior to that, John was a Data Analyst at Guy Carpenter from January 2007 to September 2010, where they were responsible for support, bug fixing, enhancements and client presentations of a proprietary online risk management tool for insurance brokerage clients.

John Hammar attended the University of Minnesota, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics.

John Hammar reports to Stan C. Moss, CEO. They are on a team with Rayna Lesser Hannaway - Head of Team, Portfolio Manager & Analyst, Small Company Growth, Christopher Varner - Director, Infrastructure, and Jim Haymes - Head, Client Service. and Korey Tata - Sr. Application Developer reports to John Hammar.
