Mark Grassing

Mark Grassing is a financial associate at Polen Capital. Mark has over six years of experience in financial operations, including accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, cash and investment management, financial reporting, and asset inventory.

At Foundation Flooring, Mark devised line of credit programs with top clients to increase sales and attract more significant “A” clients to the company. Mark also tracked and reconciled inter-company transactions annually between bank accounts, credit lines, and QuickBooks records. In addition, Mark generated monthly company gross profit and net profit reports to analyze sales/revenue/and commissions for sales employees.

Mark created and maintains a post-sale outreach program to follow-up with each client to ensure overall satisfaction with their experience in addition to generating new business opportunities. Mark also performs monthly capital measurements and capital internal order audit trail reporting. Furthermore, Mark reviews the cashing handling practices and ensures necessary accounting support for the finance team. Lastly, they create important metrics that monitor and measure (KPI's) within sales, supply chain/logistics, and operations.

Mark Grassing has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Central Florida. Mark also has a Certificate in Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School Online. Mark is certified by the Corporate Finance Institute in High-Yield Bonds, Subordinated Debt, and Loans.

Mark Grassing reports to Graham Ward, Chief Financial Officer. They are on a team with George Devino - Controller & Compliance Officer, Nicole Allum - Director, Accounting.
