Birgitta Trommler

Birgitta Trommler has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving in the role of Product Certification & Requirement at Polestar since June 2021. Prior to this, Trommler was VP of Vehicle Homologation & Compliance at CEVT from June 2016 to June 2021. Trommler's tenure at Volvo Car Group from April 2006 to May 2016 included positions such as Manager Program Management for Automotive Regulations & Compliance and various leadership roles focusing on quality improvement and regulatory affairs. Starting as Manager Crash Test Operations at Volvo Cars Safety Centre in January 2002, Trommler led a team dedicated to crash testing and compliance. Trommler holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, completed in 1994.
