Gary Priestner

Gary Priestner is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager for Electrical Architecture, Strategy, and Body Electronics at Polestar since January 2022. Previously, Gary held various leadership roles at Jaguar Land Rover from September 2011 to January 2022, including Product Owner for Platform Systems and Group Leader for EE Platform Integration. In these positions, Gary managed a team of Architecture Engineers focused on developing and analyzing new vehicle features and systems, ensuring alignment with the cross car line architectural strategy. Gary holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Engineering with Product Design from the University of Liverpool and has additional educational experience from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
