Jonas Engstrom

Jonas Engstrom currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Polestar, a position held since December 2021, where responsibilities also include Head of Operations and Head of Product & Program. Prior to this role, Jonas Engstrom accumulated nearly two decades of experience at Volvo Cars, beginning in August 2002. Key positions included Head of Strategy and Business Ownership, where oversight extended to product strategy and electrification initiatives, as well as leading the successful 40 & 60 series car programs. Additional roles at Volvo Cars featured Vice President of Product Strategy & Vehicle Line Management for the Asia Pacific region, Vehicle Line Director overseeing multiple projects in China, and Product Cycle Plan Manager. Jonas Engstrom holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in International Business from the University of Gothenburg.
