Katy Friday

Katy Friday is a Principal Engineer specializing in A-Surface Materials at Polestar, with experience in various roles such as Interior Surface Materials Lead and Materials Development Engineer since January 2022. Prior to this, Katy worked at Jaguar Land Rover from September 2016 to January 2022 as a Perceived Quality Attribute Engineer, focusing on quality history reviews, benchmarking, and system-level strategy implementation, along with completing a graduate engineer program. Earlier placements include a Business Transformation Internship at Babcock International Group and an Industrial Placement in Quality & Strategy Management at Nissan Motor Company. Katy holds a BEng in Product Design Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, completed in 2016, and attended Bo'ness Academy for secondary education.
