Anthony Leadbetter has extensive work experience in the field of policing technology. Anthony is currently serving as the National Policing Programmes Integration and Adoption Lead at the Police Digital Service, where they represent both the service and the National Police Technology Council for various national police Home Office programmes. Anthony'sprimary focus is on the National Law Enforcement Data Services Programme, which involves upgrading the Police National Computer. Anthony provides key insights and leadership in these programmes, offering technical expertise and guidance on the expected delivery of the NLEDP into policing. Prior to their current role, Anthony worked at Essex Police, where they held various positions such as Head of Infrastructure, End User Computing Development Manager, IT Server and Service Continuity Manager, Infrastructure Manager, Network Team Lead, Incident Team Lead, Incident Engineer, and Information Technology Technician. Anthony was responsible for hardware and software installation, maintenance, and repair.

Anthony Leadbetter attended Northlands Boys High School from 1986 to 1990, where they completed their high school education. Anthony then went on to study Hotel/Motel Administration/Management at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1991 to 1994, but the degree name is not mentioned.
