Timothy Larsen

Executive Vice President at Policy Impact Communications

Timothy Larsen has a extensive and diverse work experience. Timothy started their career in 1973, serving in the US Marine Corps as a Major General until 2007. In 2007, they became the Director (CEO) of Marine Corps Community Services at M&RA, HQ US Marine Corps, a role they held until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, Larsen worked at NJVC, LLC as the Vice President of Human Resources - Talent Management, Security. Timothy then joined iSchool Campus in 2013 as the Vice President of Operations, a position they held until 2014. Finally, Larsen served as the Executive Vice President at Policy Impact Communications from 2012 onwards.

Timothy Larsen has a BA in Political Science, which they obtained from Brigham Young University from 1971 to 1973. In 1989 and 1990, they attended the U.S. Naval War College and earned an MA in National Security Defense Studies. From 1987 to 1988, they pursued an MA in International Relations at Salve Regina University. In 1992 and 1993, Timothy studied US Japanese Security Issues at the National Institute for Defense Studies (NIDS) in Tokyo, Japan. Timothy also completed a Japanese Language Course at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center from 1991 to 1992. Additionally, in June 2012, Timothy obtained a Facility Security Officer (FSO) certification from the Center for Development of Security Excellence.
