Policy & Innovation Center conducts research, convenes stakeholders, recommends policy, and brings resources to communities to solve complex challenges such as unaffordable housing, climate change, and inequitable economic mobility. Our founding partners include the San Diego Foundation, the County of San Diego, and the Brookings Institution, the world’s leading think tank. Our partnership with Brookings helps us understand national best practices and trends that in turn inform local and national policy conversations. PIC concentrates on four main areas: - Climate Resiliency: Taking action to mitigate and adapt to climate change - Housing: Increasing the quality and quantity of available housing to improve access and affordability - Community Wealth: Building power and prosperity in historically disinvested communities - Infrastructure: Increasing and leveraging improved materials, technologies and services that have measurable benefits for public good Want to keep up?
