Hayden Chudy

Hayden Chudy has extensive experience in the field of software engineering. Hayden is currently working as an Engineering Manager at PolicyFly since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Facebook as a Software Engineer from October 2017 to March 2020, where they served as an IC and tech lead for the Mobile Release Engineering organization. Hayden'sresponsibilities included ideation, implementation, and long-term ownership of multiple business-critical systems.

Before joining Facebook, Chudy worked at Bond Street as a Software Developer in July 2017, where they focused on improving code quality and testability of frontend and backend engineering. Hayden also integrated frontend testing into the engineering workflow and refactored existing React components.

From April 2015 to April 2017, Chudy worked at Croscon as a Senior Backend Engineer. Hayden was responsible for various projects from conception to deployment, mentoring new developers, and enhancing the technology stack for the backend team. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Croscon from March 2013 to April 2015, where they built products for clients and executed engineering plans into final products.

Chudy began their career at Jaguar Arts as the Chief Web Developer from August 2012 to August 2014, where they collaborated with the founder to build an e-commerce site. Hayden also worked at WebOperations.net as a Programmer from April 2012 to March 2013, handling client requirements and projects using CodeIgniter.

In addition, Chudy worked as a Student Assistant Programmer at the Center for Strategic Health Innovations - University of South Alabama from May 2011 to June 2012, maintaining an existing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Hayden also briefly worked at Google in November 2011 as a GoMo Event Redirector, assisting mobile businesses in building mobile websites.

Chudy's earliest work experience was at The Orthopaedic Group, PC, where they served as a File Clerk from June 2007 to May 2011.

Hayden Chudy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of South Alabama, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Hayden'sfield of study during their undergraduate years was Computer Science.
