Miguel Lattuada

Miguel Lattuada has a strong background as a software engineer, with experience in a variety of roles and companies.

Starting in 2013, Lattuada worked as a Software Developer at Cube for a year before moving on to Altimetrik in 2015. At Altimetrik, they were responsible for creating and optimizing cross-platform user interfaces using Angular, Typescript, and Node. Miguel also worked with English-speaking clients in a SCRUM environment.

In 2016, Lattuada joined Modelit Software as a Software Developer for a brief period. Miguel then returned to Altimetrik in 2017 as a Senior Developer, where they focused on delivering pixel-perfect designs, maintaining code quality, and managing cross-timezone teams for banking clients. Miguel also prepared code demos and presentations for biweekly releases.

Later in 2017, Lattuada joined Mercado Libre as a Frontend Developer, where they were responsible for creating internal tools and conducting live experiments for the Growth team using React and Node. Miguel collaborated with other teams to integrate services and monitored live experiments using tools like New Relic and Datadog.

From 2018 to 2020, Lattuada worked at Altimetrik again, this time as a Frontend Technical Lead. In this role, they handled new hire interviews, oversaw the onboarding process, and engaged with clients, particularly in the banking industry.

In 2020, Lattuada joined CodigoDelSur as a Senior Software Engineer, primarily focusing on designing and developing microservices and REST APIs using Node. Miguel also performed DevOps tasks and configured environments using Amazon Web Services.

In 2021, Lattuada moved to Mahisoft Inc as a Senior Software Engineer. There, they worked closely with a US client in the media business as a full-stack software engineer, maintaining and adding features to core services running on Node. Miguel also helped with feature design and modeling, with a focus on maintaining backward compatibility and integration. Miguel additionally contributed to frontend development using React-Redux.

Most recently, Lattuada worked for Westwing from 2021 to 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer. Miguel'sresponsibilities included working as a platform engineer and handling CI/CD integrations with GitLab and Jenkins. Miguel also managed monitoring and production deployments, as well as participating in on-call rotations for critical services. Lattuada was involved in process improvements, specifically in load testing and regular production deployments.

In 2023, Lattuada is set to join PolicyMe as a Senior Software Engineer.

Miguel Lattuada completed their education in a chronological manner. Miguel began their education in 2006 and graduated in 2009 with a Senior Four English degree from ANGLO, specializing in languages. In 2012, they enrolled at Universidad ORT Uruguay and completed their degree in Computer Science, specifically as a computer analyst and programmer, in 2014. During the same year, Miguel pursued an additional program at Artech, focusing on becoming a Genexus analyst in computer programming, specifically in specific applications. Prior to their university education, they attended Circulo Informático in 2012 to study graphic design, encompassing both arts and science.
