Koen Kessels

Koen Kessels is a seasoned gastroenterologist with extensive experience in the medical field, currently holding positions at St. Antonius Ziekenhuis and PoliDirect since June 2016 and October 2020, respectively. Kessels has previously worked at Zuwe Hofpoort Ziekenhuis and Flevoziekenhuis, with initial training as a resident in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at UMC Utrecht and St. Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein. Kessels' education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Colorectal Cancer and a Doctor of Medicine from Utrecht University, along with a Gymnasium diploma from Jeanne d'Arc College Maastricht. Additional international experience includes an internship in Cardiology at Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria di Bologna and an internship in Internal Medicine at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.
