MacIej Wysocki

Maciej Wysocki currently serves as a Research and Technical Specialist at the Polish Academy of Sciences within the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development, starting in October 2023. In addition, Maciej has held significant roles at the ISES - Institute for Social and Economic Studies as Chairman of both the Revision Committee and the Board since August 2016. As a Counsellor in the Economic Analysis Department's Structural Analysis Unit at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology since January 2022, Maciej continues to influence economic policy. Maciej’s previous experience includes various positions at the Ministry of Finance of Poland from February 2014 to December 2021, where roles progressed from Junior Specialist to Chief Specialist in the Public Debt Department. Earlier in the career, Maciej held positions in financial risk and equity research, gaining comprehensive expertise in economics and finance. Maciej holds a PhD in Economics and Finance, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems, all from SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
