Michał Zawalski

Michał Zawalski is an experienced researcher in Reinforcement Learning, currently affiliated with Polska Akademia Nauk since October 2018, where collaboration with the Awarelab research group focuses on active research in this area. Prior experience includes a research internship at G-Research, where performance of speech recognition models on financial audio data was verified, a software developer internship at Google analyzing the impact of new enforcement on image standards for Shopping Ads, and a research engineer internship at Samsung Electronics Polska working on handwriting recognition. Michał's academic background includes a Licencjat in Mathematics and Computer Science, a Magister in Computer Science, and ongoing work towards a Doktorat in Computer Science at the University of Warsaw, along with a current position as a visiting student researcher at the University of California, Berkeley.
