Luca de Cicco

Luca De Cicco is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in engineering and computer science. Currently, Luca serves as a Member of the Academic Senate and holds the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Politecnico di Bari since February 2016. As a co-founder of Quavlive since July 2009, Luca has contributed to the innovation in the field. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at TELECOM SudParis (February 2015 - February 2016) and several post-doctoral positions at Politecnico di Bari from November 2008 to February 2015, focusing on cloud-based adaptive video streaming. Luca has also held visiting scholar positions at Télécom ParisTech, SUPELEC, and the University of New Mexico, where research involved robust stability in control systems and development of a multi-platform network layer for the Future INternet Design project. Education includes a Ph.D. in ICT Engineering from Politecnico di Bari and a Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering from both Politecnico di Bari and the University of New Mexico.
