Andrea Marinelli

Andrea Marinelli is a Research Fellow and PhD student in Materials Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, focusing on fibre-based packaging and dispersion coatings. In addition to ongoing research, Andrea has held various academic positions at POLI.design, delivering courses in materials and technologies within the Master in Industrial Design Engineering and Innovation and the Master in Industrial Design for Architecture. Past experience includes roles at MakingMaterials and involvement in packaging research at LUT University, along with freelance work in the automotive sector and design. Andrea holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Design & Engineering, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, all from Politecnico di Milano.
