Yanzie Y. Chow's work experience begins in 2015 as a Project Director and Site Coordinator for Summer in the City. In 2014, they volunteered as a Research Volunteer at the Twin Studies Laboratory - Boston University. In 2016, they worked as a Student Advocate at Health Leads and also as a Senatorial Intern at the Massachusetts Statehouse. They also interned at Islington Mind in the same year. From 2017 to 2019, Yanzie served as a Program Assistant at Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Los Angeles. Starting in 2019, they joined the PAIR Project as a Development Associate and later served as the Development & Communications Manager. In 2022, they became the Interim Operations Director at the PAIR Project and currently hold the role of Development Director.
Yanzie Y. Chow completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Public Health at Boston University from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In January 2016, they completed the Conflict of Interest Law Online Training Program offered by Massachusetts Statehouse. In November 2017, they became a Certified Enrollment Counselor through Covered California. Yanzie expanded their expertise by completing the Mental Health First Aid training offered by the National Council for Behavioral Health in October 2018. Yanzie Y.'smost recent certification was in March 2019, when they completed the Comprehensive Overview of Immigration Law offered by the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC).
