Omar Khan is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in various capacities across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chief Executive at TASO since June 2020, Omar also holds the position of Chair at Trust For London and is an Executive Committee Member of the Political Studies Association (UK). Previous roles include Trustee at Barrow Cadbury Trust, Chair at Olmec, Panel Member for REF 2021 (Law) at UKRI, and Chair of the Ethnicity Strand Advisory Group for Understanding Society, the world's largest household survey. Omar's earlier career includes leadership positions at the Centre on the Dynamics of Ethnicity, The Runnymede Trust, and the Financial Inclusion Commission. Educational qualifications include a DPhil in Political Theory from the University of Oxford and multiple master's degrees, culminating in a BA in International Studies from Vassar College.
