Joshua Posaner

Joshua Posaner is a seasoned journalist with a focus on defense, space, and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Defense and Space Reporter at POLITICO Europe since August 2016, Joshua has also held the roles of Senior Policy Reporter and Reporter within the same organization. Prior to POLITICO, Joshua worked at Interfax as the Central and Eastern Europe Energy Correspondent from October 2011 to July 2016, and at Emap as a Senior Energy Reporter from February 2010 to October 2011. Joshua's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science and Economics from Freie Universität Berlin, a Visiting Researcher position at Central European University, and a Master of Arts in Pacific Asian Studies from SOAS University of London. Additional studies were undertaken at UCL and the University of Greenwich.
