Christopher Cadelago

Christopher Cadelago serves as the Editorial Director for California at POLITICO, responsible for leading the publication's expansion in the state's diverse political landscape. Under Cadelago's leadership, POLITICO has significantly enhanced its coverage in critical areas such as climate, energy, and technology while increasing its presence in major urban centers. Previously, Cadelago held various roles at The Sacramento Bee, including Political Correspondent, and gained investigative experience at the San Diego Union-Tribune. Early career accomplishments include positions at the Los Angeles Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. Cadelago obtained a B.A. with a double major in history and media studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
