Walt Houseknecht has a diverse and extensive work experience, primarily in the field of operations and advertising operations. Walt started their career at Roll Call in 2004 as an Advertising Assistant and later became a Traffic Manager. In 2006, they joined POLITICO as an Advertising Operations Manager and worked their way up to become the Executive Director of Operations. In 2013, they became the Director of Advertising Operations and eventually took on the role of Executive Director of Intelligence, Publishing, and Ad Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Director of Consumer Intelligence and Operations at POLITICO.
Walt Houseknecht has a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Politics and History from the University of Virginia. Walt also holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering and Technology Management from The George Washington University.
