Grzegorz Tomczyk has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Grzegorz began their career at TP S.A. in 1993 as a Network&OMC. Grzegorz then moved on to Telefonia Dialog in 1998, where they worked as a Regional Sales Manager for eight years. In 2006, they joined PLAY as a Sales Channel Manager. The following year, they worked at Exatel S.A. as a Project Director, focusing on strategic consulting and business development. In 2008, they became the Vice President of the Board at CenterNET S.A. and held this position until 2013. During the same period, they also served as a Member of the Board at Mobyland Sp. z o.o. Grzegorz then joined Polkomtel Sp. z o. o. in 2013 as the Director of the Central Procurement and Logistics Department. In 2014, they continued their role as a Director but moved to POLSAT PLUS. In 2016, they became the Advisor to the Prezident at InterPhone Service Sp. z o.o., and later in 2021, they were appointed as the President of the Board at the same company. Additionally, since 2019, they have taken on the role of Logistics Board Advisor at Netia. Overall, Grzegorz Tomczyk has gained extensive experience in procurement, logistics, sales, and strategic consulting throughout their career.
Grzegorz Tomczyk attended Uniwersytet Technologiczno-Przyrodniczy im. Jana i Jędrzeja Śniadeckich w Bydgoszczy from 1995 to 2000, where they studied Telekomunications - Transmission data. Grzegorz later pursued a degree in Strategic management finance at Wyższa Szkoła Bankowa from 2003 to 2004, earning a Magister (Mgr) degree.

Polkomtel sp. z o.o. is the operator of Plus mobile network which was launched in 1996 and currently has around 13,5 million users. Since the beginning of its operations Polkomtel Sp. z o.o. has been the pioneer in introducing latest technological solutions to the Polish market. It has been dynamically implementing data transmission technologies which enable increasingly faster access to the Internet. In cooperation with the Voluntary Mountain Rescue Service (GOPR), Voluntary Tatra Mountain Rescue Service (TOPR) and Voluntary Lifeguard Service (WOPR) Polkomtel Sp. z o.o. has created the Integrated Safety System whose important elements include the emergency number for the seaside and the lakes, 601 100 100, and the emergency number in the mountains, 601 100 300. Polkomtel Sp. z o.o., while being a long-standing general sponsor of Polish volleyball, caring for both the players’ professional skills as well as the perfect organization of tournaments, has contributed to enormous growth of popularity of volleyball in Poland.
