Erin is an Environmental Economist with over ten years’ experience. Her work focuses on natural capital valuation, nature risk analysis, and biodiversity impact assessments to inform investment decisions. Erin’s recent projects include supporting the Kenyan Government to develop an environmental markets-based funding mechanism to support biodiversity, forest conservation and sustainable livelihoods, and supporting a leading global asset manager to integrate nature impacts and dependencies into investment screening criteria with an aim to increase the biodiversity value of their forest portfolio. Erin’s current projects include developing corporate biodiversity strategies as well as supporting private equity firms to develop climate and nature investment strategies including tech-based and nature-based carbon credit generation and procurement.
