Jonathan Kelly

Jonathan has more than 22 years’ fund management and direct investment experience, working with high growth businesses, founders and management teams to maximise long-term value creation. His experience spans growth private equity, venture capital and technology operations. In 2017, Jonathan co-founded Odyssey Private Equity, an Australian-based mid-market firm, raising A$275m from institutional investors. Prior to Odyssey, Jonathan was an executive with CHAMP Ventures, where he successfully invested across five funds totalling more an A$1 billion in committed capital. He has also served as a director of the Australian Investment Council, the peak body for private capital in Australia.​ Jonathan has worked in operational roles as an electrical engineer during his early career, including four years with Cochlear Limited where he led the development of clinical software and manufacturing test systems.
