Michał Winnicki

Michał Winnicki currently serves as the Partnerships Team Lead and Partnerships Officer at Polonium Foundation since June 2023. In addition, Michał is a Doctoral Student at EPFL, focusing on the de novo design of light-gated ion channels in Barth Lab. Previously, Michał worked as a Bioinformatics Analyst and Graduate Research Associate at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation from July 2022 to July 2024. Other roles include Researcher in the Molecular Modeling group at the University of Gdansk from March 2021 to July 2022, and Microbiology Analyst at J.S. Hamilton from October 2020 to June 2022. Michał's experience also encompasses an internship at the University of Cambridge's Yusuf Hamied Department of Chemistry in late 2021. Michał holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, both from the University of Gdansk.
