Łukasz Zymer

Łukasz Zymer has a strong background in IT management and administration. Łukasz began their career in 2003 as an Operation and Maintenance Center Assistant at Polkomtel. From there, they worked as an IT Support Specialist at Cinema City Poland in 2005, and then as a Senior Network and Systems Administrator at Intrum Justitia from 2006 to 2008.

In 2008, Łukasz joined Polska Press Grupa as an IT System Administrator and Microsoft Team Leader. Łukasz was responsible for implementing Active Directory and Microsoft technologies for a large number of employees, managing multiple servers, and implementing Hyper-V and Private Cloud infrastructure.

In 2016, Łukasz became the IT Infrastructure Manager at Polska Press Grupa, overseeing the company's IT systems, services, and infrastructure.

In 2019, they advanced to the role of Head of the Internal Systems Department at Polska Press Grupa, where they managed publishing systems, financial and HR systems, Microsoft systems, sales systems, edge security, and centralized identity management systems.

Currently, Łukasz holds the position of IT Director (CTO) as part of ORLEN S.A at Polska Press Grupa. In this role, they manage an IT Division, plans IT budgets, implements IT and company strategies, and develops and manages IT systems, services, and infrastructure. Łukasz also participates in change control planning, approves processes and standards for effective information system management, and contributes to overall business initiatives.

Łukasz Zymer completed their postgraduate studies in Effective IT Management in the Enterprise at SGH Warsaw School of Economics from 2023 to 2024. Łukasz holds a Master of Science degree in Resources and Security Management of Information Systems from Wyższa Szkoła Handlu i Finansów Międzynarodowych w Warszawie im. Fryderyka Skarbka, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in e-business Information Systems from the same institution from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, Łukasz Zymer has certifications including MCITP - Microsoft Certified IT Professional MCSA - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, MCTS - Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, and CSSA - Certified SonicWALL Security Administrator, although the institution and the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
