Jay Prakash Mohanty

Jay Prakash Mohanty currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Business Head of the Lighting Business at Polycab India Limited since April 2024. Previously, Jay held the position of Senior Vice President and SBU Head of Lighting at Century LED Limited from April 2021 to April 2024, and served as Associate Vice President and National Product Head for Consumer Lighting at Havells India Ltd from March 2018 to April 2021. Jay's extensive experience in distribution, channel management, B2C, new business development, P&L, GTM strategy, and digital transformation is complemented by a range of roles at Philips Lighting from January 2005 to February 2018, including Regional Sales Manager and Regional Marketing Manager for multiple regions. Jay's educational background includes a Master's degree in Marketing from New Delhi Institute of Management, a Bachelor of Commerce from Utkal University, and an Executive Program in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
