Leslie Sole, B.Sc.(Hons) JD, U of T has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Beginning in 1995, Leslie worked as a Teaching Assistant and later as a Research Assistant in the Science Department at the University of Toronto. In 1997, Leslie served as a Teaching Assistant in the same department.
In 1999, Leslie held the position of Summer Legal Student at Stikeman Elliott LLP, a prestigious law firm. This experience paved the way for Leslie to become an Articling Student at the firm in 2000, where they worked on multi-million dollar legal transactions in various areas such as corporate, litigation, tax, and real estate.
After completing the articling program, Leslie continued to excel at Stikeman Elliott LLP, working as an Associate from 2002 to 2005. In this role, Leslie represented clients and made submissions at Ontario Municipal Board hearings, advocating for municipalities and large corporations.
In 2006, Leslie's legal career led them to Polyclinic Family and Specialty Medicine, where they started as the Business and Legal Affairs Director. Shortly thereafter, Leslie transitioned to Canadian Phase Onward, assuming the role of Legal and Business Affairs Director. At this company, Leslie was responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documentation related to the business, including contracts with physicians, subtenants, and medical equipment leasing. They also acquired and maintained independent health facility licenses with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, in addition to drafting and implementing policies and procedures for various medical departments.
Through their extensive legal and business experience, Leslie Sole has developed a strong and versatile skill set, making them a valuable asset to any organization.
Leslie Sole holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science, majoring in Psychology, from the University of Toronto. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the same institution.
