Ana Miguel is an experienced ophthalmologist currently practicing at Hôpital Privé de la Baie and Polyclinique De La Baie since April 2014. Ana serves as a Clinical Fellow of Glaucoma and Advanced Anterior Segment Surgery at the University of Toronto and has been a clinical researcher at the Center for Research in Health Technologies and Information Systems (CINTESIS) since 2011. In addition to clinical work, Ana has held editorial positions with the World Journal of Meta-Analysis and Clinical Case Reports Journal. Ana's educational background includes a fellowship in glaucoma and advanced anterior segment surgery from the University of Toronto, effective writing training from Harvard Medical School, and multiple degrees in ophthalmology, including a PhD focused on adverse drug reactions from Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto.
