Jobie Crear serves as a Neuroscience Research Mentor at Polygence, providing guidance to high-school mentees on their research projects through weekly meetings that include literature review and data analysis. Currently a D.D.S Candidate at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and a Dean’s Scholar, Jobie is pursuing an MBA Dual Degree and is involved in the Innovation in Medicine Club. Previous experience includes teaching biology and chemistry at Strive Prep Excel and Denver North High School as a 2019 Colorado Corps Member with Teach For America. Jobie's early career involved roles such as Lead Guest Educator at Enriched Schools, Project Operations and Marketing Intern at Heritage Medical Associates, and Research Assistant at Vanderbilt Education and Brain Sciences Laboratory, where data analysis and neuroimaging were key responsibilities. Jobie holds a double major in Neuroscience and Human & Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and began studies in Neuroscience at Wesleyan University.
