Craig Simms has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. Craig started their career in 1999 as an Intern Architect at Patkau Architects, where they worked until 2005. In 2006, they joined hcma as an Architect and stayed there until 2011. From 2012 to 2017, Craig worked at PUBLIC: Architecture + Communication as an Architect and Principal. Currently, they are Vice President of Development at Polygon Homes Ltd., a position they have held since December 2017. In addition to their professional work, Craig also served as a Sessional Faculty member at Emily Carr University of Art and Design from 2003 to 2005.
Craig Simms holds a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree from The University of British Columbia. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fine Arts from the University of Victoria.
