Jens Sommertune

Jens Sommertune is an experienced professional in the field of polymer science, currently serving as Product Manager for the SpheriCal(R) product line at Polymer Factory Sweden AB since September 2021. Prior to this role, Jens worked at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden from January 2013 to August 2021 as a Project Manager and Raman spectroscopy specialist, overseeing budgets, scientific projects, and customer communications. Jens also held the position of Project Manager in Polymer Technology at YKI Institute for Surface Chemistry from March 2011 to December 2012, focusing on polymer synthesis and encapsulation. Earlier, Jens completed a PhD in Polymer Technology at KTH, The Royal Institute of Technology, where doctoral research centered on galactoglucomannan-based materials, following a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Materials Science from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.
