Marco Bonizzato

Marco Bonizzato is an Assistant Professor at Polytechnique Montréal, where the sciNeurotech lab focuses on developing innovative neural interfaces with an emphasis on commercialization. Additionally, Marco serves as the Chief Technology Officer at NeuralDRIVE, working on precision neuromodulation medicine devices. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Université de Montréal, where a neuroprosthesis for brain stimulation in spinal cord injury was developed, and a PhD at EPFL, where two neuroprosthetic strategies for enhancing voluntary leg control post-injury were created. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from EPFL, a Master's degree in Control Engineering from Università di Pisa, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Università di Pisa, and a Master of Science in Engineering from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.
