Stephen Fisher

Stephen Fisher has a strong work history with experience in various leadership positions in engineering and technology companies. Stephen has worked as the Vice President of Engineering at Polyverse Corporation since 2023, where they lead the development of cutting-edge cybersecurity technology using AI and Cloud services. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director and Acting VP of Engineering at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they provided executive leadership in engineering, operations, and program management, leading a team of 25 direct reports and supporting 500 employees indirectly.

Before their time at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Stephen worked as the Chief of Staff and Director of Product Development at Cray Inc. from 2017 to 2019. Stephen played a key role in setting the strategic direction for Cloud product development and driving a culture of continuous improvement. Stephen successfully led the transition from a hardware-focused approach to an agile and continuous release model.

Stephen also has experience in committee leadership roles, serving as the Committee Chair for both the Bothell High PTSA from 2017 to 2018 and the Kenmore Junior High School PTSA from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they have held positions at F5 Networks, Northwest Film Forum, Kenmore Elementary PTA, Program for Early Parent Support (PEPS), and Microsoft, where they contributed to the development and launch of innovative products and platforms.

Throughout their career, Stephen has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a focus on driving change and improvement, and expertise in cybersecurity technology, engineering management, and product development.

Stephen Fisher attended Bellevue College from 1995 to 1996, where they obtained an AAS degree. Stephen then pursued their education at Central Washington University from 1996 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
