Eric Mercier

Eric Mercier currently serves as the Engineering and Project Director at POMA, overseeing a team of over 130 professionals in the development of gondola lifts, ski lifts, inclined lifts, and Automatic People Movers. Prior to this role, Eric held various positions at Faiveley Transport from August 2008 to January 2024, including Doors Product Line Engineering Director, Project Director, Access and Platform Doors Engineering Manager, and Door System Mechanical & System Engineering Manager, managing engineering teams across China, Canada, and France. Earlier career experience includes roles at Valeo Engine Cooling as Product Design Leader, Nissan Design Europe as Product Engineer, and General Electric Healthcare as Sub-system Engineer. Eric holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Toulouse and completed a management program at INSEAD in 2016.
