Vinay Venkatesh

Vinay Venkatesh brings extensive experience in engineering leadership and software development, currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Pomelo since June 2024, after a successful tenure as Director of Engineering. Prior to Pomelo, Vinay spent over 11 years at Apple, progressing from Software Engineering Intern to Senior Engineering Manager for Apple Pay. Additional experience includes a role as a Developer at the San Diego Supercomputer Center and serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego, where Vinay taught Java, data structures, and debugging concepts to students. Vinay holds a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
