Melissa van Veen is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Business Partner for Communications at Pomerleau, Melissa previously held the role of Corporate Communications Manager at Li-Cycle and Communications Manager at LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services. Additionally, Melissa has held senior communication roles at Aon Hewitt Canada and MONEXgroup, where responsibilities included developing impactful communications and managing complex internal and external communications projects. Melissa’s early career features roles in marketing communications and client service at organizations such as Adecco Employment Services and CIBC. Educated at Trent University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, and further armed with a certificate in Publishing from Ryerson University, Melissa brings a rich blend of communication skills and strategic insight to the field.
