Hazel Raja

Hazel Raja currently serves as the Associate Dean and Senior Director of the Career Development Office at Pomona College, a position held since January 2020. Prior to this, Hazel held the role of Assistant Dean of Students and Director of the Career Development Center at New York University Abu Dhabi from March 2010 to December 2019, where responsibilities included establishing the Career Development Center, managing a team, and implementing strategies to enhance student employability. Earlier experience includes positions at the University of Southampton, where Hazel led global opportunities and employability initiatives, and roles at NYU, where a progressive career culminated in serving as Senior Assistant Director at the Wasserman Center for Career Development. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Counseling & Guidance from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UC San Diego.
