Susan Pennestri

Susan Pennestri is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in digital learning technologies and online program management. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Digital Learning Technologies & Operations at Pomona College since October 2020, Susan previously held various positions at Georgetown University from March 2003 to October 2020, including Senior Associate Director for Online Programs, where leadership was provided to ensure the quality and integrity of online courses. Other roles at Georgetown involved operational management of online programming and supporting technology-enhanced pedagogies across multiple disciplines. Susan began the career as a Sr. Instructional Technologist and also directed the language learning lab. In addition, a consulting role as a Blackboard Specialist at ACTFL involved redesigning programs for online delivery. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Educational Technology Leadership from The George Washington University.
