JOEy Chen

Joey Chen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

JOEy worked as a Business Strategy Consultant at HongShi Taiping Golf club starting in 2023.

Prior to that, from 2022 onwards, they served as a Business Development Manager at ACA Sports Group, where they provided part-time consultation for student athletes, scouting them and helping them with the pathway towards overseas universities. JOEy also supported data analysis for simulators sales for academic and medical institutions.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked as the Director of Sales and Business Development at SHINAMA Golf-Japan golf collection. JOEy co-founded the company and worked closely with innovative partners, mainly focusing on sports innovation projects.

From 2016 to 2018, they were an Onsite Supervisor at EF English First, where they focused on training and development for young professionals and provided corporate solutions for English learning. JOEy also handled global sales and marketing planning and supervised satellite office staffs.

From 2012 to 2015, Joey worked as a Sales and Marketing Specialist at EF English First.

JOEy began their career in 2010 as a Country Product Manager at Shinama Golf, Japan. In this role, they worked on business development, partnerships, local marketing plans, and trading solutions.

Joey also has experience as a Sales Manager (Footwear Brand) at Vfc Taiwan in 2009 and as an Account Executive & Customer Service at Maruman Golf, U.S.A in 2008.

Joey Chen's education history is as follows:

From 2006 to 2007, Joey Chen attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sports Administration/Marketing General.

In 2018, Joey Chen enrolled in a Certificate Program at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, focusing on Golf Turf Management. This program was completed in 2019.

Joey Chen currently attends Indiana University of Pennsylvania, starting in 2020 and expected to graduate in 2024, pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Professional Studies in Education.

In addition to the formal education mentioned above, Joey Chen has also obtained several certifications. In 2018, Joey completed the EF Global Manager Training Program offered by EF Corporate Solutions. In the same year, Joey received a Certificate of Sport Science and Coach Education from ETSU Career Services. In 2015, Joey obtained the TKT certificate from Cambridge Assessment International Education. Moreover, Joey received the WBSA Business Planner certification from the World Business Strategist Association in 2009, and the TPI Level 1 certification from TPI (Golf Health and Fitness) in 2019. Also, in 2009, Joey achieved the WBSA-Business Strategist certification from the World Business Strategist Association.
