Allen Stone

Allen Stone has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Allen is currently working as the Security Operations Center Director at Pondurance, where they lead and manages the Security Operations Center, ensuring the provision of managed detection and response services to customers. Prior to this role, Allen worked as a Consultant at Remedium Security.

Before joining Pondurance and Remedium Security, Allen held various positions at different companies. At Aristocrat, they served as the Director of Security Operations, leading a global cyber response team and managing a managed security services provider relationship. Allen also spearheaded automation initiatives within Google Cloud Platform, resulting in significant efficiency gains.

Earlier in their career, Allen worked at E*TRADE, where they held roles such as Director of Cyber Security, Senior Manager of Incident Response and Forensics, Principal/Manager of Incident Response and Forensics, Senior Incident Response and Forensics Engineer, and Senior Security Analyst. In these positions, they demonstrated strong leadership skills and was responsible for various aspects of incident response, forensics, and security operations. Allen also developed automated solutions, fostered relationships with law enforcement agencies, and implemented security enhancements.

Allen Stone attended Louisiana State University from 1991 to 1998, where they studied English Language and Literature. During their time there, they did not receive a degree. In 1997 to 1998, they also attended Berklee College of Music, focusing on Classical Composition. Allen Stone has acquired additional certifications, including GCFA from GIAC in 2010, GCUX Gold from GIAC in 2004, MCSE NT 4.0 from Microsoft in 1998, and CISSP from (ISC)² in 2008.
