Sami Kauppinen

Sami Kauppinen is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Ponsse since March 2015, specializing in the mechanical design and structural analysis of CTL forest machinery frames. Prior roles at Ponsse include a Manufacturing Development Engineer, where responsibility included designing welding jigs and utilities while completing a master's thesis on machining vibrations. Sami also gained experience as a Mechanical Assembler at Normet Oy and a Warehouse Worker in previous summer positions. Sami holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oulu, completed in December 2015.
