Ann Yu Shi

Ann Yu Shi is the Director of Strategy & Business Development at Pony.ai. Ann has over 6 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and journalism.

Ann started their career as a General Affairs Assistant at Charoen Pokphand Group Co.,Ltd. Ann then moved to HotelQuickly Ltd as their Marketing and Public Relations specialist. After a year, they transitioned into finance reporting and became the Senior Reporter at The Corporate Treasurer, a publication under Haymarket Media Group. During their time there, they also wrote for FinanceAsia and gained expertise in cross-border capital flows, investments, capital markets regulation, and compliance. In 2018, they were recruited by Pony.ai as their Director of Public Relations & Communications where they built internal and external comms policies and strategies from scratch. Ann is now the Director of Strategy & Business Development at Pony.ai.

Ann Yu Shi has a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from The University of Hong Kong. Ann also did an exchange in Economics at Peking University, and another exchange in Financial Economics at EDHEC Business School. Ann is also certified by the Treasury Markets Association in the completion of the Foundation Course in Treasury Markets.

Ann Yu Shi reports to James Peng, Co-founder and CEO. They are on a team with Gordon Sung - General Counsel, US, Lawrence Steyn - CFO, and Jiayin Zhang - Director, HR - US.
